Grey’s Anatomy coined the phrase when Meredith spoke about Christine. It makes you stop and think…everyone should have a person. Someone you can call at any time of the day and they will be there for you. Someone who you can say anything to and you won’t be judged. Someone who you can spend hours with and laugh the entire time. Someone who just gets you; who loves you for you. I am so damn lucky that I have two. Two people who are my people. I love them dearly and I don’t know what I would do without them. ❤️❤️❤️
Enjoying my first cup of coffee in 2019! I am sitting here thinking about 2018. So much has happened with my family and friends; many good things and some just down right heartbreaking. It made me stop and think that each experience has taught me something. I have learned that my family and friends are pretty damn amazing and are my rock. I have learned how strong one can be despite facing the unimaginable. I have learned it is ok to be vulnerable or ask for help and that it doesn’t make you weak. I have learned that taking chances can lead to heartbreak but it can also lead to amazing opportunities. I have learned the good will always outweigh the bad. I have learned to forgive even when someone doesn’t deserve my forgiveness; it is just good for my soul. I have learned not to settle for anything that isn’t good for me or my family. I have learned i can’t be worried what others think because when it comes down to it, if it’s good for me or my family, nothing else matters. I am looking forward to what this year has in store for us. So much to look forward to! So many changes, so many opportunities. It will be exciting and terrifying all at once. Life isn’t easy thats for damn sure but when you surround yourself with good people, it will work out. Cheers to an amazing 2019! Much love to you!
Merry Christmas! I love this time of year. It’s hectic and crazy but i wouldn’t change it for the world. The best part is spending time with those you love; nothing else matters. NOTHING! Merry Christmas ❤️❤️❤️
Typically when I worked out, I would run! Since my injury, it’s been slow getting back into running. So for the past 6 weeks I tried this new program. It combines lifting and HIIT. I absolutely love it. I was never really into lifting but I really like it. It makes me feel very strong; stronger than I ever been.
My goal is to try new things, go to new places, experience the new. So on Saturday, I tried Pilates for the first time. (Me before I went in). It was AMAZING!!! I loved it; LOVED IT!!! I am going to go once a week. It has all the machines (which scared the crap out of me) and the workouts are about 50 min. I burned a shit ton of calories (which shocked me). I am so excited to add this to my routine! It was awesome! I honestly didn’t realize how much I worked my core until later that day! Wowzers! This is the reformer machine! Very cool workout!
Happy Sunday 😎
